SLAM has partnered with Crocs on a Day in the Life video series that highlights how various hoopers spend their off days. The episodes feature Houston Rockets rookie Josh Christopher, South Carolina star Aliyah Boston, G League sensation Fanbo Zeng and Knicks guard Evan Fournier.
We linked up with longtime SLAMFam Josh Christopher for a Day in the Life in H-Town. Jaygup gave us a tour of his penthouse, showed off his gaming room, his pop’s artwork, his cooking skills alongside his mom and also got in a quick W in a game of checkers against his manager before picking out a fit at the local consignment shop.
WSLAM headed down south to hang out with Naismith Women’s Player of the Year Finalist Aliyah Boston. In this episode, Boston gave us a tour of her dorm room at South Carolina, walked us through her many, many trophies and accolades, showed us what her off days look like (naps are a must), gave a cooking tutorial on how to prepare an island-classic, curry shrimp, and, of course, touched on her "Crocs obsession" and how she customizes hers with Jibbitz™ Charms.
G League Ignite’s Fanbo Zeng is the No. 1 Chinese basketball prospect in the world, and we spent the day with him to see what his off days look like in California. Zeng, who is all about comfort when it comes to his style, gave us a glimpse into what he’s got in his closet and some of his favorite pieces. After challenging his manager, Alan, to a Pop-A-Shot match, Zeng threw on his Crocs and headed out to get a quick haircut before grabbing dinner at a place that reminds him of home, Chinese barbecue.
